Simon is my sister cat, brother of Lolly. He has been sick for 2 days before missing. He couldn't eat anything and need to be forced to drink water (his older brother also suffered the same way before passed away few months ago)
My sister put him on terrace to get morning sunshine and went inside for not more than 5 minutes. She was back to terrace and she didn't see Simon at his place.
She already looked for him around our neighborhood but she couldn't found him. Simon is very weak. My sister cried for these past 2 days and gave up. But even if Simon is no longer alive, she still wants to see his body.
My daughter also cried because she is really close to Simon. I just hope Simon still alive (thin hope) and we can find him today.

@RebeccasFarm that's okay. We learn to let go.

The fact he stopped eating and needed to be forced to drink are both signs that it was almost time to go. He probably snuck off somewhere, usually under something, and passed on. Have you tried looking under the house? Or under any bushes or trees nearby? If there's outdoor access to a crawl space, He could've gotten inside and passed on there. Use a flashlight, even if it's daylight. If his eyes are open, even if no longer alive, the light will be reflected.
I pray you find him (hopefully) alive. Or, just find him, period.

We also think same thing. He knew his time. But we already looked around for two days and today is the third day. There is no sign of his body. We don't smell something rotten too.
We do really hope there would be a miracle and he is still alive somewhere and will go back home soon.

I am not surprised at all. His pattern is very common.

It's just a thin chance. I don't want to believe it, but I think he is passed away somewhere.
