Trying not to get murdered in the dentist office

Was part of my dream last night. Honestly, I believe I had a few dreams but this one takes the cake! I was with a friend in an office. We knew it was a doctor's office but wasn't sure what kind yet. His grandmother was there for some reason. Sometimes she was a hygientist (or however you spell that) and some of the time she was just a patient. I can't recall who the person was that was trying to kill us, but I think we knew him somehow. We managed to thwart him though, thank goodness!

There is another dream at the back of my mind that I am trying to remember. I think it was the prequel to the dream with the man trying to kill me.

Dreams can be so weird, can't they? Do you think they 'mean something' or do you think that they're just random unconscious events?

It depends on the dream to be honest. Some I feel mean more and some I think are just like a download of random thoughts from my day.

@Borlotti That's a pretty great way of looking at it to be honest. I've been interested in my dreams for 15 or so years. I've learned to analyze my own dreams and I've had quite a few that were premonition dreams. My friends pay attention when I recount a dream I had of them because they know it matters.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Maybe it's like reading tea leaves, or those blot tests psychologists use: maybe they're random, but that means you can find meanings in them and maybe that way your subconscious can 'speak' to you even if the dream itself doesn't 'make sense' like a story would.

If it makes you feel any better, in part of the dream it felt more like an eye doctor's place.

@LindaOHio I hope not! I hate the dentist and always have. Well, except they had the best toys when I was a kid.
