Winter Haiku

I'm loving playing with Haiku poems at the moment -- and I've read some great ones on here (try searching the haiku tag for more). This is one I just wrote, inspired by looking up at the stars on a cold, winter night. I hope you like it! My star shines brightly In the dark and wintry sky. Eyes reflect moonlight. Thank you for reading. These little poems are great, I think, because you can kind of say more, I mean evoke an image or feeling really well, by actually saying less. If that makes sense!

Hi Titia! Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I'm new to writing haikus but I'm definitely enjoying it so far and I've already discovered so many talented people like yourself who also write them.

Hi AR! Thanks for reading this. I'm so glad you liked it. You should try writing one or two haikus of you can find the time. It's great fun and a bit of a challenge, too.
