I am sure that I got at least 10,000 steps today.
My computer was hacked--this morning I was trying to do my usual thing and this message came up saying my computer was compromised or something and froze everything, so I called the support people and on the phone for several hours while I went out to go get some things at the store and talking to the tech guy.
We got to the point where he couldn't do anymore, but warned me not to purchase anything on line (use credit cards) until he was done, but I don't plan to. He's supposed to contact me again tomorrow at 11am so he can hopefully finish up. At least now my computer is no longer frozen.
Ugh...I am quite done today.

I hope you contact the real tech support, not the numbers that pop up on the screen. I heard so many stories about tech support scammers these days. They just want to make easy money but taking advantage of people who don't know much about computers

That's good about the steps. Sorry that you had a hard time with your computer. You did reach out to the actual tech support, and didn't call the so-called Microsoft number that would've popped up on your screen, right?

It's great that you contacted tech support. I hope he can solve your problems soon and nothing got stolen.
