Jane Eyre

I just finished watching Jane Eyre - the 2011 movie. I see that the battle of "the best Jane Eyre adaptation" is between this one and the mini-series from 2006. It's true that this one is shorter and a lot of essential scenes were cut and some details weren't show, but I can't blame them. They wanted to make a movie, not a mini-series. Anyway, overall, for me it's the best adaptation. They are my Jane and Edward Rochester. I think that they had better chemistry than the ones from the 2006 version and their acting was more natural. I simply love it. I love the book, the story, everything. What do you think about this? Have you read/watched it? What do you think about it?

I haven't read the book nor watch the movie, despite the book being really famous. With version is better? The book or the movie?

The book it better because it's the original. If you love romantic classic movies, you should try it. Book or/and movie. Doesn't matter. If you want to see it and know more details I recommend you the mini series. But the 2011 movie is better for me. Try anything :)

I read the book when I studied English lit at uni. That was a lifetime ago. I can't remember much.
