Gather round, all you children of the 70s and leftover late 60s flower children, ‘cause it’s time for the next song on my list of favorite songs with “diamond” in the title. Most everyone knew this one would be on the list, and I hate to disappoint. So here it is.
#7: Diamond Girl - Seals and Crofts
Seriously! A couple of Bahá'í adherents giving us more late 60s love than we had in the late 60s! 
Here’s a little trivia for you: (Jim) Seals and (Dash) Crofts were in a band with Glen Campbell in the early 60s. And, if you didn’t know, Jim Seals’ brother was Dan Seals, of England Dan and John Ford Coley fame.
And if you give a rat’s tuchas, my favorite Seals and Crofts song is their 1975 song “I’ll Play for You.” But all their hits were good, featuring excellent harmonies and that great folk-rock feel.

I agree. I don’t mean this in a negative way, but Seals and Crofts is just so quintessential 70s to me!

Also I went to the high school that Michael McDonald of the Doobie Bros in Ferguson MO..another memory of the 70s such good times

I liked this catchy tune by Seals & Crofts. My favorite is Summer Breeze. Great lyric- "Blowing through the jasmine in my mind"? As content as a summer breeze...
