Another 'Part of the Parody' I Hadn't Noticed Before

The Amazon Prime series THE BOYS features a corporate-cult (a lot like Scientology) called The Church of The Collective. https://the-boys.fandom.com/wiki/Church_of_the_Collective
But there were a couple things I hadn't noticed the first time I saw the series, things I was able to notice after I'd learned a bit more about The Aftermath Foundation (a group of ex-Scientologists) and their conflict with The Church of Scientology.
A main thing that I learned about was the COS's policy involving what they called "Suppressive Persons" (what the COTC calls "Toxic Personalities"---people who 'leave the church' (COS calls them "blows") abruptly ... without 'cycling out').
The COS and the COTC both have the policy (though the COS might deny it) of "disconnection from ex-congregants," where current members have to stop any communication with former members (even if they were good friends or family or married).
