Tomorrow my husband is going to go and get his COVID vaccine this one of two shots. He’ll go back in a few weeks tog at the second vaccine for COVID. Hoping it works. Since he is a frontline (first responders) he is in the group of the first to get it. It’s not mandatory but he work has a sign up list for the weekend and he wanted in with first as he could get.

That's good for he's a frontline worker and must be protected.

I agree. It must be difficult to decide when vaccines aren't abundant to see who gets vaccine first. I double mask every time I'm out and about.

Makes sense he would be one of the first to get it. I wish him luck with getting the vaccine.

Praying everything works well. I'm really rotting for this vaccine so we can all at least go out worry-free. Best wishes for your husband, and, if I understood it right, he's a medical frontliner? Wow! Please thank him for me for being one. I have so much respect for medical frontliners. They are the most exposed with all kinds of medical problems, yet they still chose to walk that field of service.

Thank you! He went from working in the hospital to working at a doctors office so he is less exposed but still sees lots of people all of the time. He says some weeks 200 plus patient's. From what he tells me there are two different ones from
COVID currently for the US they can only cover those working the frontlines before anyone else can get it. I hoping there isn’t any bad side affects.

@jainaproudmoore he see the statistics for the one he got was that 95% of people didn’t get COVID from having the vaccine or when given COVID which is a nice high number so about 5% of those tested had later had COVID they actually where sick with COVID.
As of right now mild side effects like most vaccines. A sore spot and slightly feel warmer but other wise just fine.

@ShyBear88 Wow! That really is quite a number of exposure for him even if it's for a doctor's office. I am rooting for this vaccine too, and hoping it won't have any negative side effects of those who will get it. It was a bit short of a period of time, like just one year, to formulate a vaccine. I hope the time frame was just enough to get the research and testing phase done. Frontline workers really need so much protection right now.

I’m not sure how it’s spelled but from reading the word I think it’s the same one.
