At the laundromat

Since it's only a day off for this weekend, I decided to visit the laundromat. Did I ever mentioned my washing machine died? I haven't got enough money to purchase a new one. Anyway, I decided to take my laptop with me. Easier for me to use the Internet using my laptop than my phone. So you can there's my laptop and I am waiting for the dryer to work magic on my laundry. There's a lot of people today. Some even bring kids. Why? The kids look bored just sitting down waiting for their laundry to be done. But I also took Lil Bro. He's been on his phone since we arrived. Turned out he installed a new game. I tried to MyLot as much as I could while watching for the timer. In the meantime I was chatting with my friend too. Multitasking! Suddenly, the fans died. None of us know where to turn it back. So it's going to be hot for a while. At least I'm almost done here. I got 1 minutes left. Better pack my laptop and continue somewhere else. Later everyone!

It's always much easier to me to do myLot on PC/Laptop than from my phone. I dunno, maybe I got used to typing using all my fingers than just my two thumbs. Ha! Ha! Well, having a broken washing machine is such an inconvenience, but thank God laundromats exist.

Good that you were able to do more than one thing at one time. I'm sorry that it's very untimely for your machine to retire these days and you can't buy a replacement yet.

I noticed there is only one laundromat in my city. But there are a lot of laundry service here. The laundry service has different system. You bring your dirty clothes, they will measure the weight. Now you choose you just just wash or include ironing. They will give you the bill and tell you the date for picking up the clean clothes. Do you have something like that there?

@Cheyee we buy the tokens from the machine. 1 token for RM1. Washing and rinsing will normally cost 4-6 tokens. Dryer will normally be 4 tokens.

@prinzcy My sister lost her clothes also her husband's clothes. They did give compensation, but it wasn't worth. The clothes price is 5 times than the compensation. I think I would love self service too. I don't feel comfortable people touch my clothes. How about the system? I watched some movies with laundromat, they use coins (you buy the coin). How about there?
