Mobile Gaming

I wasn't really into mobile gaming back then, just movie or foreign TV series streaming until I had so much of energy to kill due to a heartbreak Ha! Ha! Ha! It was just initially to divert my attention but eventually, I became quite a fanatic of a certain mobile game. It has become my outlet to take a timeout from all the things that bothers my mind and a substitute for travel even before this pandemic broke out. Whenever I need some time off but unable to travel, I just turn to mobile gaming. Or whenever I have some spare time to kill, apart from my usual foreign TV series streaming, I turn to mobile gaming. Now I know why this can be a bit addicting. But my fanaticism on the mobile gaming is tamed. I make myself aware not to be addicted to it.

It's good you aren't addicted to it.

I am also glad that I'm not addicted to it. I cannot imagine leaving out my other tasks for it.

I might have had episodes that I was almost getting addicted to it. I'm just glad that I was able to stop myself from too much attachment to it.

I was into gaming back then. Yes, they really are addictive. Nowadays the only game in my phone is Duolingo and it's not even a game.

Oh! Yeah, Duolingo is very engaging, too! I was so hooked with it too until another project came in that I have lesser time for leisure.

That is good. I was hooked to candy crush before but there's a certain level that you play then suddenly it felt harder to level up. Like almost stagnant. Games can definitely be a good hobby and tend to stimulate your mind on how to win and etc.

It's very stimulating indeed, it actually made me even more competitive in a good way, and made me become more of a team player with better communications with teammates so we can achieve our goal.

@ihasaquestion Exactly. I've shifted to RPG from a simple cooking game.

I was addicted to Kingdom of Camelot back then. I sacrificed my sleeping time. I only sleep 2 hours every night. Until finally I realized it's not worth at all. It took me month to realize tho. Glad that you know how bad addicted is

I think I had a pretty bad case of addiction with Counter-Strike online and Temple Run back then where I would also sacrifice my sleep. Perhaps I learned from those experiences that I wouldn't let it happen to me again this time, especially that I am already with work responsibilities.
