Something that's been weighing on me heavily ... The Bible has God saying "It is not good for the man to be alone," (right before he 'creates all sorts of companions for Adam, brings them to him, and has him name them all'). So I've always had (in the back of my mind) the idea that God will bring me a wife, and that it won't require any work from me (aside from 'just being myself'). But I'm almost 40, and still have no wife! Before I start thinking that makes me 'an abomination,' my mind remembers "the letter of Paul, where he says that 'not everyone is meant for the same blessings as Adam-or-whoever'" https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Ephesians-4-11/#:~:text=EPHESIANS%204%3A11%20KJV%20%22And%20he%20gave%20some%2C%20apostles%3B,some%2C%20pastors%20and%20teachers%3B%E2%80%9D%20King%20James%20Version%20%28KJV%29 But that 'Bible Truth' is just "the one that works for ME"; how do I know that I'm still 'a good man' even though "my particular gift" (being alone) is a 'NOT-good condition'? What 'Bible Truths that contradict other Bible Truths' have you seen, and how do you tell which Truth is true?

@mythociate I will make a comment on the wife business.People get married at all ages. You have to talk to G-d and keep talking to Him about wanting a wife. He has to know you are serious. By the way G-d brought Adam a companion because He did not want Adam to be alone so along came Eve. I believe very much in the Old Testament because those are not just stories in it, that is my history.
