One of favorite times of year are Halloween and Christmas! I enjoy getting into the holiday spirit and decorating and I know that this year has been a difficult time to really enjoy that. I've been trying to just make the most of it and look back on memories and remember some of the things that made me fall in love with Christmas. I loved gathering as a family and making tamales and opening up our gifts and just seeing the smiles on everyone's face to see what they got.

The chance to spend time with family and friends and a short break from work. Most of my friends have different work schedules so we never have a chance to hang out even prior to COVID. Around Christmas time we all have a short break and it's a good opportunity for get-togethers. Unfortunately that is not going to happen now.

Ten years ago,our country was full of the Christmas goods,i had bought a Santa Claus doll and a Christmas Tree,That's the Heyday of China,A confident, open and outgoing society.I could write freely and speak what i want to say.The Western Culture and Kpop were very popular in China.
But now, when i went to the town yesterday, there was nothing about Christmas Promotion,No one dared to do it.Because it will be considered as a behaviour of treason.Western Culture was banned in China,Kpop also was stigmatized.I hadn't seen any Christmas Trees or Santa Claus dolls. So it's very depressed in China, there is a few people celebrating the Christmas day,and a few people dare to celebrate and thank to God online.
I don't plan to celebrate Christmas day,but i will thank God in my heart, and my favorite thing in Christmas is the Freedom.I wish Santa Claus could give me Freedom,it's more precious than any gift. With the freedom,i could live as a human being and make the choice by my heart

Some of my favorite things are the smiles on the faces and how friendly everyone is. I love going for a walk each day just so that I can say hello to perfect strangers too!!

We don't have Christmas in our Hindu tradition. But I do put up a Christmas tree and buy gifts for my daughters. I enjoy playing Secret Santa since childhood days.

Seeing people decorate their homes for the holidays. Going through neighborhoods looking at people's light displays at night. Growing up my town always did their Night's of Light's celebration. It was fun going around downtown and seeing both sides of the street lit up. It was hard to look at everything at once.
