Let The Day Begin

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a bright and beautiful sunny day here today. It's gotten a little warmer than it's been the last few days so weather-wise I'm smiliing.
Well, I'm smiling anyway.
Counting my blessing and being thankful for all I have. The world is so full of misery and anger right now that I decided to put on my optimistic hat and be glad.
My daughter went to work so it's just me and the pups. I'm waiting to get her text that she arrived there safely. This is the only day this week she has to travel which is good.
The pups aren't sleeping which is weird. Both are awake and look like they're ready for some mischief. I guess pets get excited the closer it gets to Christmas just like kids.
Since my day has just started (I rolled out of bed pretty late) I'm going to have my coffee and then see what the day brings.

Covid certainly has interfered with every aspect of our lives. Hope your husband managed his appointment okay.

The sun is trying to poke thru the clouds here.
Its nice to see the cloud cover rolling and moving as it is.
You keep your optimistic hat on, and tell me, do you remember where I left mine? 
Taking calls yesterday was difficult, alot of sad stories to hear, and yet as soon as you hang up there is another caller with an even worse one.

It must be very difficult listening to one sad story after another. I'm just concentrating on being grateful. There's so much grief going on that my complaints would be minimal.
If you can't find your optimistic hat you can borrow mine

Helping people boosts my spirit.
Sadly I had a gentleman call in crying, his wife had just left him, and he needed help protecting his banking information. He was in the state of shock and I lead him thru the procedures that he will need to do to maintain his independence. He thanked me repeatedly, that made my day.

I hope she made it to work safe and sound and so glad she only has to go in one day this week. I have no idea about animals getting excited about Christmas. Sophie enjoys our Sabbaths and our holidays and when I take the dreidle out on Hannuka and the toys that light up too she loves that.
