I made rice balls for lunch today. Instead of using the rice for sushi, I used white rice that I cook everyday. Why? Because I felt lazy to cook a different rice. So the result wasn't pretty as it usually do. Even with mayo, the shape didn't stay for long. One fall apart by the time I ate them for lunch. I didn't even bother to take a picture. No problem though. It still tasted good despite the ugly shape. It just that I felt like I no longer eating rice balls but mixed rice

I like rice balls too. But it's been a whole since I made some because my husband is not a big fan of rice. So I only make it for us both occasionally.

I would cook one cup of rice to make the rice balls. Instead of using the rice cooker, I steam the rice. It's to avoid the scorch part. Once cup will be enough for 3 to 4 rice balls.
