Before the turn of the year from 2019 into 2020, Christmas Cards and the posting thereof had already started their road to extinction . . . . but the world pandemic made a sure thing of Christmas Cards and the delivery thereof almost a thing of the past.
Have you been getting Christmas Cards in the post? Have you been getting any post this year?
As the 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S' bunch would say - On this Eve of Christmas Eve, I wish you all Blessings and Love with a world full of kindness and joy and HOPE that as we pass over into the 2021 year, things will have a better view.
So from my Front door to your Front Door - much love from me

You are right we have had less cards this year but still received some. This year is one to remember but for the wrong reasons! Wishing you and your family health and much happiness for 2021

@Inlemay My brother and I didn't have any issues getting a parcel and card from our Nan in Sydney. I was able to send her some Christmas presents myself.
But I am having issues trying to send over some presents to my best friend in India. Been trying for some months with no luck.
A Merry Christmas to you.

@VivaLaDani13 that is quite sad. some people might just need some LOVE and Care in the way of a letter to make life feel better

@Inlemay I hope so. I am unable to send them. Every time I go to the post office, they tell me India aren't accepting parcels or they say even midway through sending, it could change and be brought back to me. It's too much of a hassle so waiting until I get a 100% green light to send over.

We sent out lots of Christmas cards, but these are for family and friends who are present in our life. And we received lots of cards back. I am not really asking for a card in return, but ti does make you feel nice to be appreciated. A text or call or social media message that they received it is enough for me, they do not need to send us one back if they are unable to due to work or the pandemic. However, I decided to cut our list and exclude one family friend. We have been mailing them cards and they will not even acknowledge it. We are sure that their address is current and we are sure that they still live there. So, since the gesture is not appreciated, we decided to not bother anymore.
