Is it even proper to post a BEFORE picture of something I am cooking? I mean, this looks absolutely disgusting by all standards. But looks are deceiving. This, my friends, is an egg bake.
I cracked 12 eggs and whipped them. Then I added 4 rather large hot dogs, sliced, into the mixture. One whole bag of shredded cheese. I diced a nice sized onion and threw that in there. A little bit if spaghetti sauce (don't lose me here). 1 can of evaporated milk to fluff it.
I have it in the oven right now at 350 degrees and it will cook for a little over an hour. It will set nicely, and will taste delicious.
It looks like hell warmed over, I admit, in its current state. But trust me. This will be good.
But this IS anti-climactic. I will tell you what. I will snap a picture of the finished product, and post it and you can tell me then what you REALLY think of this dish.

@NJChicaa I have eaten eggs all my life and I never tire of them. But I do know what you mean. When I worked for Kraft Foods, I worked in the frozen pizza division where we made DiGiorno, Jacks, and Tombstone. We always had pizzas in the breakroom freezer and pizza ovens and so there was always frozen pizza available to eat on break. At first it was awesome. After a while it got old. lol

Most food doesn't exactly look that good before it's complete. So, the finished product might actually be better than the orginal.

@porwest I like using eggs as binders. I don't like to taste them.

You're right. That doesn't look appetizing at all. I will wait for the finished product.

We're doing much the same for Christmas morning. We're calling it a casserole, lol.
