Despite the current situation, we need to devote more time with our work considering the tons of tasks that needs to be done before the year closes. Because of this, I don't have time to buy gifts for my relatives earlier. Last night we had a get together at my sister's house set at 7 pm. Because of this, my daughter and I went to the mall at 3:30 PM and went on for the last minute gift shopping. We finished buying gifts at around 5:45 PM but we still need to wrap the gifts. I decided to park the car in front of the Governor's office and there I started wrapping the gifts while my daughter cuts the tape and put names on the gifts. We were finished at 6:30 which gives us enough time to drive to the house of my sister. Merry Christmas everyone!

We were just on time. Maybe because children and those who are seniors are still not allowed to go out until this time. The news says we are already COVID free in our place but the authorities should still enforce the rules to be sure. Thank you. I wish you more success. Merry Christmas!

@ARIES1973 It's good that they are imposing the rules strictly despite of good control of virus. We should never undermine the virus. Many places which had good control here got a second wave when rules and travel were eased. Children and elderly are more vulnerable. They should be kept safe

It's good that you're able to wrap them so fast. I might've shove them all in paper bags.

Wow, you were cutting it too close. But good thing you have a very good helper with you. All's well, I suppose, and you were able to spend time with family. That is the most important thing.
