We Had A White Christmas After All

Yes, we had a white Christmas, hard to believe as the day before it was
raining "cats and dogs".
But on Christmas day, everything was white and peaceful.
I hope that you enjoyed your day yesterday and that you are recovering
for overeating or overdrinking.
On the news front, the bad news never ceased, that is so depressing.
A good thing that we can listen to good music and escape for a while in that world.

Everything looks lovely after it snows. Yes, peaceful too.
I avoid watching the news every day. I need a break from all the negativity. I agree, music helps.

@marlina me. I shoveled the ramp and porch and used the blower for the driveway and sidewalk. My husband has a prosthetic so only does it when I can't.

That's true. Bad news is so depressing for it's where the media outlets are earning.

@marlina How beautiful! I'd really love to experience a white Christmas one day. I think it would be amazing and certainly different to what I'm used to.

@marlina No it didn't. It made for a white Christmas; but we had over a foot. WAY too much!

@LindaOHio For a person who does not like snow, a foot is a lot

How many inches of snow did you get? No snow here but rain on Christmas Eve. I've got many holiday treats to eat so I'll be recovering into January

@marlina I'm glad about that, I can't imagine Christmas without snow, somehow it's not complete for me. I can't imagine myself celebrating Christmas on a beach in a swimsuit and with Santa Claus ... my first association with Christmas is snow and Santa Claus.

@marlina It's just a matter of habit I guess, I can imagine how confused I would be to sit somewhere on the beach and see Santa Claus
