Day 137
Promise 596
2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so, be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
Everyone wants to wear clothes. Nobody wants to be found naked.
Yet, many people are naked, not from being unclothed, but from knowledge.
Paul told the Corinthians they had no fear from nakedness because their earthly body was God’s tabernacle. Their tabernacle housed the knowledge of God so they always knew that when they died, their mortal body would dissolve and they would put on immortality. Something they longed for in the perilous times in which they lived.
As Christians, you know your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. He clothes you with truth every time you open God’s Word to read and understand what it says.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
One day you will change your earthly tabernacle for one not made with hands, immortal.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (KJV)
Of all things in God’s creation, only man was formed with God’s hands. One day, you will enjoy a body not made with His hands, but immortal, invincible, only found in heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (KJV)
God’s promise to every believer is a new body, immortal when they pass from this mortal life to an immortal life. When you do, you will have full knowledge of God.
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. (KJV)
Are you God’s tabernacle? Have you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord? You can know Him so that when you pass from this life, you will have an immortal life with Him for eternity.
Let’s pray: Father, Your Word lives in me. Give me understanding when I open Your Word and draw closer to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Life is not what we shall pursue, the Eternity is what we shall pursue.Human being is like the Morning dew will disappear soon in this world,so what's the meaning of being a human?Only God can tell us the answer.
We're like the lost sheep gambolling on the prairies,we think we find the pleasure of life. But that's all the dreams.Because a lost soul finally will fall into the emptiness, the sadness and the craziness. That's why we need God,we need a Shepherd to guide us,to give us the meanings, the happiness and the peacefulness.
