It's gonna storm tomorrow

I'm so glad we don't have tornados and hurricanes overhere. Bad storms are bad enough. Weather forcast says we'll get a storm tomorrow in my neck of the woods up to 100km/u (62mph) from the South. That means we get the full load bashing our house at the front and lots and lots of rain. As almost all of our local small rural roads have rows of high poplar trees, there will be a lot of broken branches on the road again. Fortunately all electric in the Netherlands is underground.

We had wind up to 100 km,/h here yesterday, the wind came from the Alps, Foehn wind, it brought very mild temperature, but tomorrow the cold should come. All our electric are also underground.

It's now almost 2.00pm and all is well. Most of the storm and rain passed during the night and early morn. No damage on the property.

No, I haven't seen snow for at least two years where I live. This year is has snowed a little bit in the East and South-East of my country but nothing to write home about. Lots and lots of rain though.
