But in reality I have never made this type of cake, although I want to make a variant of adding conficted fruits and prunes, and dried fruits to make it more Christmas, or find another type of cake to enjoy at dinner on the 31st ... Do you have dessert in mind or which one do you like the most? Give me an idea ..?

New Year's dessert is a family cake, so what's your family's favorite cake, fillings and I'd go from there. I'm having traditional Japanese cuisine for dessert which is lantern & you an. Lantern is like a harder version of jello. You an is jellies ban paste. Both sweet. But American traditions of pie too, from Walmart, you know those little individual pies they've got under a dollar.
