I had been having insomnia nights especially on Sunday nights because Monday is Blue Monday, lots of worries, tension and problems popping up.
Hence, I couldn't sleep the whole night. My brain is wide awake, I yawn several times, my eyes are puffy and tired but when I close my eyes, my brain did not auto shut down, it is wide awake.
I tried drink warm milk, nope it didn't work.
What would you do?

@peachpurple Tea, but not black or gray tea, that are strong, but specific tea, I dont know what mix is in it, but its called "good night" so its good to drink before sleep.

Sometimes if I am having insomnia I keep my eyes open...something about forcing yourself to stay awake, allows you to go to sleep. You could also try some deep breathing or relaxation exercises.

I usually wake several times in the night. When I do, I often go back to sleep. However, there are times when I can't go back to sleep because the thoughts of whatever is going on in my life intrudes and keeps me from falling back asleep. So, I lay there and close my eyes and relax. Even if I am not sleeping at least I am resting.

Yes, i did the same as you had mentiined. It was better than sitting up all night. Although my eyes were shut, body at rest but my ears perk up and brain alert, it does take a toll when at work. Simply exhausted
