Some people surrounding me in the work place are becoming more toxic and it's like they're slowly poisoning my inner self. I don't like to confront or make argument with them as there's no point of doing it. One day, I'll be out in this environment. I know that there's still better opportunity around.

Negative and toxic people will never be gone, and they are everywhere. Sadly, these people are not really bad to begin with, but ended up turning to negativity and making others feel bad so they can feel good about themselves. I applaud you for not giving in to their toxicity, and putting yourself first. Identifying the need to distance yourself from that kind of environment instead of letting them get to you is a sign of maturity. I hope you will be able to transition and find a much better opportunity for you.

With different people surrounding us in our workplace, it would really be difficult to understand every personality which may sometimes or worst most of the time causes misunderstanding between people. Yes, if we are not comfortable with the current work environment, it won't be healthy to stay there. But be sure to find something before leaving.

@ZedSmart Yes, we should bear in mind that finding a job nowadays is also not easy. I had an officemate who resigned after she was not the one who was promoted but another employee. Now she is jobless.

I'll do my best to find. I admit, finding a job during this time is difficult but it's a matter of perseverance. Thank you. Talking to the people here is kind of relief, one thing that I can't share with most of the people in my surroundings at work.
