In 1967 the top three on the music charts were The Beatles at number one with "Hello Goodbye" Gladys Knight and the Pips with "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and The Monkees with "Daydream Believer" Believe it or not, since I have chosen to inform you about number one hits, other songs, concerts and so on nothing else happened at this time and I chose not to include deaths and other incidents. I guess everyone was getting ready for the end of the year. .

I know those groups. I like the Monkees but I don't recall that song. I have heard I Heard it Through the Grapevine.

The best version I have heard of I Heard It Through the Grapevine was by CCR. It's a fantastic tune.

Hello Goodbye, a song about everything and nothing reaching # 1 how about that Lennon hated the song calling it a meaningless bunch of opposite words and contrasts. Oh well, I liked it and it was catchy

Songs don't have to have words that make a lot of sense to be enjoyable @dgobucks226
