I Cried Last Night

Shouldn't have watched Avengers End Game. I was told that it would make me cry. Anyone that knows me well, knows I cry easily. If you haven't seen the movie, I won't tell you why I cried.
I also laughed!! The movie, although a dark movie, had its funny moments. Overall, I really enjoyed watching it despite the tears.
It was a long movie. I could have paused it to venture to the bathroom, but I was really entertained and didn't want to stop watching.
The movie finished 15 minutes before midnight. I changed into my pajamas, brushed my teeth, fluffed my pillow, and went to the living room to watch the ball drop. Really don't know why I bothered to do that. I should have just went to bed.
Hoping that the tears I shed washed away my woes. I needed a cleansing. Looking forward to a new year.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy new year.

I am going to try to focus on the positive things this year. There was a lot of negative in 2020.

@Juliaacv me too. I stay home, try to eat a well balanced diet (even though sweets have been hard to pass up), get a little exercise by walking outside with Little Miss, and keeping my stress levels as low as possible.

@ElusiveButterfly It was all just survival for me.
Now I feel hopeful as I am striving to stay healthy enough to hear them say roll your sleeve up.

I really should have not even watched the movie. Not only did it keep me up later than I normally stay up, but it was hard for me to shut my mind off after watching it.
Happy New Year to you and your hubby too!

@LadyDuck I have a lot of genres I enjoy. This one had me hooked because of the characters and the actors portrayals of them.

I have watched all of the movies in the series. Love the movies. I am hoping that they make more, but truly don't know how they will be able to.

It did help. Probably shouldn't have held back as much as I did though. I was worried that my husband would have made fun of the fact that I was crying over a super hero.
