An Alarming Dream

I leave my house to meet the bus at 7:00 a.m. 7:05 at the latest. I dreamed that I slept through both of my alarms and woke up at 6:53.
I was trying to get dressed, eat breakfast, pack a lunch and get hubby to text the bus driver all at the same time. My heart is still racing. I am glad it was only a dream.
I woke up at my usual time--4:40, which is before my first alarm, on my phone at 5:00 a.m. It is an annoying alarm of singing "Good morning" and goes off every 5 minutes for quite a while. My second alarm is on an electric clock at 6:00 a.m. just in case.
Whew, I am glad it was only a dream!

Oh no! I do not like those dreams at all. I hope your day was a good one after waking up to a dream like that.

It was a busy day. I worked with a child I have never been trained with, because my usual kiddo was gone and the para that works with this child was gone and the sub para had no idea what to do.

@ScribbledAdNauseum She is pretty well locked in her shell, mentally, but has ways of letting us know what is going on.

@GardenGerty That sounds like an interesting day. I hope the child was easy to work with, I can't imagine how it would feel for them to work with someone different than they are used to.

Those dreams that are so real are interesting but I don't like them either. I had one once where I thought I had gotten up and could feel the water running over me as I washed my hair only to wake up and still be in bed. I wasn't late either that day but I I didn't like the dream either.
So what's for supper later?

I have some fajita beef, tomatoes and onions in the oven. I will top them with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese when they are done. We will either eat it with potatoes or wrapped in tortillas with sour cream and salsa.

Sometimes I also have dreams that makes my heart beats faster and when I woke up, I was relieved and glad to realize it was only a dream. I even had a dream that my left foot was aching and I woke up feeling the pain because of leg cramps.

Oh, ouch. That is bad when you incorporate real life into your dream.

There are enough other stresses happening at work, so I do not need that.
