Hello everyone! Today marks my first day out of my hotel ever since I set foot in Guernsey! After 14 days isolation I am finally a free bird.
My manager picked me up from my hotel and got me all settled in the hospital accommodation. Happy to say although my room is small, I got my own kitchen, toilet and study.
I’m still a bit overwhelmed but I think I’d like it here. How’s your new year been folks?

Good that you are out of your isolation period and now can explore. Have you shifted to a new place or it's just fir short term travel??
Have a happy and healthy 2021

i've always wondered where frontliners stay since it seem their duties can be more than 24 hours.
will you be looking for your own flat eventually?

@hereandthere yeah and even in some shops nurses are harassed. I remembered nurses boycotted Iceland because a nurse was harassed whilst shopping there.
Yep I got a new boyfriend on new year. He’s awesome.

@flapiz when the pandemic started, i heard that some frontliners were refused by laundry shops here for fear of infection.
so you're in a relationship now. that's good.

It's great that you were able to complete the quarantine and can now explore the place. Congratulations on your new job.
