Fear the Walking Dead Binge

Before the pandemic, I have stopped watching TV... or rather, I rarely watched TV. But I still do watch some movies online. During the pandemic, I started watching old TV series streamed online. Then last December, I found a The Walking Dead (TWD) spinoff titled Fear The Walking Dead. The last season of TWD that I saw was season 5. After that, I lost track of the show. When I watched the pilot episode of Fear The Walking Dead though, it caught my interest. Though the spinoff is set in the same apocalyptic scenario as in the original TWD series. But there is no Rick Grimes nor a crossbow-armed Daryl nor a katana-wielding Michone. What we have in Fear The Walking Dead is an ordinary family trying to survive the zombie apocalypse. There are fewer action, flesh-eating, brain-smashing scenarios in the spinoff compared to the original TWD. However, the storyline is more gripping and makes you want to jump to the next episode to see what happens next. Like the TWD, the series depicts that there are something more dangerous than the walkers... other human beings who merely want to survive, and those who want to take advantage of the situation. It can also make you wonder... what would you do in time of a zombie apocalypse? Have you watched Fear The Walking Dead?
