Good evening friends
It's Christmas here today. For those who do not know today, Christmas is celebrated by Orthodox Christians. Of course, it was not peaceful in my house even today, because my father has been drunk since 8 am this morning and he wanted to quarrel all day. I managed to ignore him.
I spent a little time training, and congratulating my aunts on Christmas. Today I called one of my friends with whom I lost contact and she was glad that I called her on this day.
I really want to change something in my life, but I have so many negative emotions that I struggle with myself every day and I feel like I’m buried in one place and I can’t go on. I don't know what's next. I lost myself, but I definitely have to get moving.
Is there something in your life that you want to change right away?

I hear you and really if you can get to move out which I don´t know your situation.
If you can find time to relax time for yourself I mean and see how you feel in your heart you might get an answer maybe not right away but I am hoping you get an answer.
I know well of that kind of situation also.

Your father should really do something to stop drinking so much, he becomes so unpleasant when he drinks.
You need to get moving, I am sure that you are still in time to change your life, you are still young, do something and start the new year with a positive mind.

I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas despite your father's actions. I'm glad that you are aware that you need to make changes in your life, that is a very important first step. You already know what the solution is (moving out of the house and away from your father), now the real challenge comes in finding out a way to do it. I wish you the best of luck and hope that this will be a big year for you.

@Nevena83 Step 1: look for a job. Step 2: apply for the job. Step 3: get the job!
You can do it Nevena! I have lots of faith in you!

@Nevena83 It's raining here, so we've been spending two days at home, we only went out for a short walk last night. There is probably something I would change but I can't remember right now

Christmas always bring that message of hope that every thing will come to place in God's own time. Am sorry for the condition your father was in.
Come to think of it, the Gospel yesterday narrated the story of the hemorrhaging woman who, in desperation, touched the robes of the Rabbi. Quickly, our Lord asked who touched Him. Of course, the apostles could have gone "Duh, who touched You?' with all the people calling to Him for attention. But our Lord felt the touch of the woman because He felt her pain. Right then and there, when the woman was healed, the pain was transferred to our Lord. He bore the pain.
So, whenever there is pain, I do my best to bear it, to spare our Lord of the tremendous pain He has already endured for us.
I do wish you a cheerier Christmas.

That is great support and thank you. The problem is that sometimes I can't stand the pain and I don't understand so many bad things in my life and why God tempts me so much.

@Nevena83 One mylotter posted a discussion about not trusting God any longer but she changed gear when another mylotter from China that amid her harrowing conditions in Communist China, her hopes that will probably never come in her lifetime remains in God alone.
The crosses we bear are exactly the pain we can endure. God will never give us a cross we can't carry. During the agonizing times, focus on God. 'Ask and you will receive,' our Lord did say. The answer will come in God's perfect time.

@eileenleyva You're right, I've said many times that I can't stand it, and I'm still alive.

Yes, you understand me best, because you have a similar situation.
