Good morning Saturday... Plans to get my hands dirty.

Good morning Saturday from this side of the planetIt's 7:50 AM here. I woke up at 7 though I went to bed around 1 . I went around my garden and clicked this picture of the beautiful visitor there.
But then I was back to the quiet house with everyone still sleeping on a weekend. The cloudy gloomy morning made me also slid back into warm blanket. And since last one hour I have been here.
Now I need to get up, do some exercise and get started with the day. And getting my hands dirty in the garden is the major plan for the day. I have not kept anything else on list as it's a long hour project. I am glad that I cooked little extra yesterday and the left overs will save me from cooking
I have to harvest all that is ready to harvest. My order for seeds from Amazon is here. I got 35 varieties of vegetables and two flowers there. This is my first time with this brand and I hope they are good. I will start with 10 of them today as those will be the number of pots ready. I have enough coco pit and compost
I am still waiting for my gardening tools to be delivered from Amazon. The handle of my old shovel is broken. But guess! Today I have to manage with that.
Leaving you with this beautiful image from my garden in morning. Catch you later. I need to exercise to beat the cold temperatures and get going

After giving up on online seeds I got tempted and bought a packet a variety of flower seeds but none are doing well. Very disappointed.

I got some seeds from Amazon and they worked. But this time I have got this brand which has 35 different varieties of vegetables seeds in one box and two for flowers. I have to see how it comes out. Keeping fingers crossed.

I agree Judy. It's therapeutic.
I couldn't work in garden yesterday as planned because of whole day of rain and drizzle. Today was sunny and I did a good part of it. I left few things for tomorrow.

So that means full fledged gardening!
Best of wishes.
You can perhaps become a gardening consultant to others in a few years.
(One tip: Try writing Gardening tips on FC in the coming days ! )

I think that the next academic year would also be mainly online.

Thank you. Once the physical school starts, I might not be able to continue with current job responsibility. I will switch back to the part time mode. Maybe then I can take article writing. Still not clear about how the working of next academic year would be.

@arunima25 I had a kitchen garden on our building terrace. I used to carry water from our flat up since there was no tap. Now, some tenants have done "kabza", "(adverse possesion)". Anyway, I know have knee pains so it is as well. :)

I don't have a big garden. I live in apartment and I have a penthouse with a small terrace and three balconies. I have used step farmingto accomodate more than 100 pots.
Even when I stayed in a small condo in Tokyo for 6 months... A room with enough space for bed, table and a mini kitchen, I had small kitchen garden in that mini kitchen with few herbs. . I always love to have plants around even if I know that I am there for few month. Luckily, I have always got people whom I could hand over my pots when I moved.

@vandana7 That's sad to know about the illegal possession. We have spineless people everywhere.
Well, carrying water there would be a pain.

Yes. Your side gets enough cold and snow to kill the plants during this time.

I hope you received your gardening tools. Our garage is lined with so many, that if we lived closer, I'd give you some.
Love the photo.
No gardening for us this time of year, unfortunately, excepting caring for my two herbs in our garden window.

@arunima25 I understand. Many products are not what we expect. I wish you could have half of our tools.

I got the gardening tools but they were not up to mark and were not worth having them. Quite different from what they looked online and what I paid for. So I requested a return. I have got my money back. Now I need to place a new order or maybe I will go and take it from some physical store.
I would have been a worthy recipient of your gardening tools.

Thank you. I couldn't do it as planned due to drizzle and shower that came all of a sudden. Today was sunny and I could do a bit of it. I have left some for tomorrow. Hope weather allows it.
