I just got home from wedding party. Not sure if i could call eat party because we just prayed for the happiness of the groom and bride, and then ate.
I regretted going to that event because no one wore mask. I dragged my chair away and didnt took my mask off except when i ate. I didnt even greet the groom and bride. After eating we got back home.
If there is an invitation next time, i will try to find a good excuse so i dont need to attend it.

We should avoid gathering if it is not really important. And if ever we can't avoid it, we should always follow the health protocols. Stay safe.

@allknowing people really don't have patience. Party and mingling are not basic needs. Why can't they wait...

since you're pregnant i think it's safer to avoid any gatherings for now.

Had I gone to the event and found nobody else wearing a mask, I would have left... It might upset the hosts but they shouldn't endanger others just because they were getting married. NOTHING is more important than our health!
I seriously hope nobody had Covid 19 at the party!

@Cheyee I do understand. I'm just worried about you being pregnant with the possibility of catching Covid. I don't want you and the baby sick.
I don't go to parties because I don't know what to do or how to act at parties. I'm always afraid people will think I'm stupid and a klutz. *shrug*

I was planning to leave but I can't because it's close family. The party was held in my brother in law's house. And my parents in law were there. I already have bad reputation for being arrogant (I am not arrogant, i am just an awkward woman, I don't know how to mingle). And I don't go to family gathering often.

@DaddyEvil I was worried too. Still hope I won't catch anything there.
We are just the same. But my face is truly the opposite of my personality.

We went to a marriage event two weeks back.
People did wear masks, but many were talking to each other without them.
There was a limited gathering of 30 people from our side.
Yet one does has doubts whether one would be safe afterwards.

I think I read your post about it. It was outside wedding party, right?

OM! That is so irresponsible! The wedding planner should put that on their priority list - mask and face shield. That is so risky! Does the bride and groom had their own mask? That is so irresponsible! I hope you and your family and everyone who attended the wedding are fine. God bless.

It was just small event. Family and neighbors. No one wore mask except my husband and I.
