Chicken soup

The rain has just stopped after almost 24 hours. The weather is pleasantly cool. I think my kids can sleep peacefully without air-conditioning on. For tonight's dinner I just finished cooking a small pan of chicken soup. I put 500 grams of chopped chicken, one carrot, 50 grams of beans and one potato in my soup. Also little bit of celery, spring onion, fried onion and one diced tomato. Soup is perfect for this kind of weather. Picture from Google because I am too lazy to get back to kitchen just to take one picture (I am in my bedroom right now) What do you have for your dinner/ breakfast / lunch?

That soup sounds yummy. I am also planning to make a soup next week, I will make a bigger batch so my husband and I can just reheat and eat for lunch and/or dinner. It is still winter here and a nice hot soup will help. I plan to make my version of chicken macaroni soup.

True, soup is perfect for cold weather. I don't know why but I dislike macaroni in chicken soup. It tastes weird for me. Like chewing rubber

@Cheyee Cheese is particularly important in France, Spain and Italy, we have a lot more variety than Germans and Austria.

Ohh that's really delicious. I am curious, is cheese being a part of Western culture? Because it seems like a lot of family keep various of cheese in their kitchen.

I love chicken soup with vegetables! If I have any leftover on hand, I will also throw in some rice or noodles. We just woke up - I have no idea what will be the menu for the day .

@Cheyee You really do make a meal out of your chicken soup. I eat breakfast and lunch during the week. The last meal I had so far was breakfast and had cereal with a banana and milk in it and hot chocolate.

I know that book. My sister read a lot of that book. I only read one during my high school. I would say it's a good book, just not my style.
