@MALUSE they don't look like silly if you carry your bag on your chest not your back.for me I think it's safe.because you don't know who you will encounter.sometimes a pick picketers.its normal to protect your. belongings

@MALUSE I never had problems in Italy, but in the United States (Miami) I was attacked by three guy (9 in the morning, garden of the hotel), who threw me on the ground and robbed my bag. That is the only accident I had. I have been to Lisbon, Rome, Marrakesh, Madrid, Barcelona, Napoli... never had problems.

@LadyDuck I. I hope your fine that's terrifying. I never experience it. And I don't want to experience because I don't know self defence .so everyone I go home I don't use handbag.i always use backpack

I normally just use pockets when I have them. When I don't, the diaper bag or my fiancé's pockets. lol

I prefer my shoulder bag because I can have it so that it sits across my chest like a sash I can feel if someone so much as brushes past the bag never had anything stolen from it backpack however I caught a kid trying to take my switch out of my bag ooohhh the scolding he got from his mother.

Especially when we have to travel.we always use backpack.because we can put our stuff nice of you ,you like backpack even though your a girl.

Yes it does free up your hands but it is also more of a danger from thieves

Yes its true..Shoulder bag are attractive to thieves.because it is easy to grab.now a days it's really difficult to trust a person especially if you are a commuter of a bus.

Also backpacks are nice because both shoulders carry the load instead of only one getting sore.

I like rolling bags too.but I often use backpack.because I commute everyday by abus and train.my place is too far from my part time job.yes sometimes it really hurt on my shoulder.but I need to sacrifice because I commute.

I like backpack, but already gave it to my daughter because I don't use it often (almost never use it). Now I only use my the one and only shoulder bag. And it's the small one. I don't put much things in it. Only my phone, wallet, Hand sanitizer and mask.
