social media reduce the sense of empathy between us?

Personally, I don't think so, it's actually pretty good to train my empathy for other people. The reason is because when I see posts that don't suit my taste (whether they are not good angles, edits are not neat, or even people who still look beautiful when they smile teeth), I sometimes even think, "Oh she's just like that, try to imagine you (me) to be him, it must be like that, his personality is like that. " Sorry if I even misunderstood the empathy that meant: “D just correct me if I'm wrong, thank you. In addition, I also sometimes feel that social media is really a media that allows us to see the social level or the social environment from various points of view.

I have my settings set to see posts only by my friends. I'm rarely on social media these days.

No, I don't think that social media reduces your empathy toward other people. In some cases, I think it increases it.

Me too. Social media doesn't always reduce our sense of empathy. It depends on how we use our social media.
