Something Simple Can Make Kids Happy

My two oldest granddaughters spent the night with me a few months ago. They were ages 7 and 4 at the time. They found a bag of old styrofoam packing peanuts in my storage room. I had planned to throw them away, but they begged to play with them. So I let them! Later, I was summoned to the bathroom to find the girls in the tub, laughing, covered in the little green things. Then they gathered them up and made more messes. But it was something different and new to do! The mess was worth it to see them having so much fun. Photo is mine.
