Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good Monday. I am back to share my food/health journey for the day. I will start with the weigh in, as always. Yesterday: 189 Today: 190.6. Sadly, I went up 1.6 pounds. Just shows how bad even one cheat meal is for me. Blood sugars today: Fasting - 161 Meal 1 - 141 Meal 2 - 148 Meal 3 - 133 I was surprised for the 133 after meal 3....because the item was sort of questionable. It was good though, so may try other flavors. So - what did I eat today? Well, I will tell you... ~ Meal 1 ~ 4 slices of pre-cooked bacon, 2 eggs scrambled with some shredded cheese, 1 slice of keto bread toasted with a little butter. I also had a low carb "frappe" - only carbs were in the heavy cream. - 672 calories, 4 net carbs ~ Meal 2 ~ 1 Bratwurst with some mayo & no sugar added ketchup mixed (or fry sauce) - 488 calories, 4 net carbs ~ Meal 3 ~ Salted caramel built bar (protein bar) and I drank a Zipfiz. - 150 calories, 6 net carbs. Total macros for the day: Calories - 1,310 Protein - 59 Fat - 107 Total Carbs - 32 Net Carbs - 14 Sugar - 9 I think the macros were pretty good today, except the protein was a bit too low - I'd like to be around 75 or so with that. What do you think of this day of eating? Also, how did you do? Photo via Pixabay.

@arolf1988 Both, but more the carbs. Well...that depends on what kind of way of eating you want to do and things like that

@MommyOfEli2013 The sugar is the most important. The rest will follow if you keep going.

I envy your calorie count, that is really awesome! I have been counting/restricting calories for the last 12 days. Finding that little things add up extremely quickly!!

Well I just try to get the macros as close as possible and seem to end up in the 1300-1400 range. Restricting calories can be so difficult....because they do add up! I am glad I more restrict carbs than calories in general.
