The weatherman is at it again, and I don't believe him!

So, supposedly the weather guy on the channel I watch is the most accurate one, and he had us all going last week promising some snow for Monday...well it never happened. Now he is saying it again for this Monday! I don't believe him! I will believe it when I see white stuff falling from the sky and coating the ground I wasn't born yesterday ya know..if he says buy snow shovels I am going to buye a sand pail.... Do you believe your weather people?

What is very often....snow, or inaccurate weather reports?

I do not believe our weather people a lot, but most of the time they get it right. They announced wind for today and (unfortunately) they were right.

@LadyDuck It tends to get breezy or windy near the lake with nothing blocking the wind.

That's good...I mean they are reasonably accurate within a day or two, but after that all bets are off.

Not that much confidence with the local weather guy even though the weather can change in a heartbeat.

You never know...For years in DC they said the weather was hard to predict because they didn't know if they were going to get a southern flow or northern flow. We are more apt to get a southern flow here but are further west and a higher elevation so it is still kind of unpredictable I think.

@Deepizzaguy It is probably pretty hard to pinpoint a weather forecast.

@snowy22315 I agree with you since the weather man says it will rain in Lake Charles in about six hours, sometimes the heavy rain will go to the northern towns of Lake Charles like Moss Bluff and northern cities.

They are usually pretty correct most of the time. Better than years ago.

Weather people seem to love the spotlight. Whether they are accurate or not is another story.

Well, they are right for weather a day or two in advance...but bad on the long range prediction stuff. It has always been that way.

Sometimes. I have my local news station's weather app and the Weather Channel to compare notes. So far the weather's been on point this month, though it's been cold with little snow.

I will check different reports too. Sometimes they say different things, but I look at the radar if any doubt.

@snowy22315 Same. And sometimes it's wrong like last year and the year before, when the weather was wrong, and I could've gone to the gym.

Our weather predictions are mostly pretty accurate but occasionally they'll be saying no chance of rain but we can see it falling. lol

I don't believe them. In Phoenix they always say it's going to rain and it rarely does. But we have had a few odd things happen, such as random tornadoes lol..
