So I went to the dentist today, and guess what? Yeah, I almost passed out. They got me in a chair to lay me down, and took my blood pressure. It was 72 over forty. I guess I'm going to have to call my doctor. I had almost convinced myself despite passing out last week it wasn't a problem, but this kind of seals the deal.
The good news was I had no cavities!

It is a very big deal. I've had this happen and collapsed. Now I'm fine and yours could be from a totally different issue. Get help now.

You really should, also do some research. Sounds to me, a symptom of POTS , but I could be wrong. Good luck.

@everwonderwhy Itv stands for Postal Orthostatic Takacardia syndrome. Basically, its a disorder where your blood pressure doesn't do as it's supposed to when you stand from lying down, sitting, moving, etc.

@kaylachan Thank you. That's so sad to hear. My sister-in-law has the same. I pray and trust that @AmbiePam gets her condition checked, reverse and healed.

No cavities is good news but the blood pressure issue is not good and needs to be taken care of

Perhaps it was the anxiety of being at the dentist. Anyway, do have it checked out with your doctor.

I sure will be glad to hear your doctor has seen you. This low bp and passing out are not to be ignored!

That is worrisome. Is it a side effect of any of your meds?

@MarshaMusselman My primary care physician was, and I figured she was the one who would know. But I'll see my pain management doctor again in early February, so we'll see if he thinks that's okay. I just wish I had one doctor only!
