Our internet wasn't working until 9:30 am

Many times when we lose the internet it can be fixed by a simple reset but last night we lost both the phone and internet. And, resetting it didn't do a thing to restore it.
I was able to mylot for a little on my data but shortly after that too wouldn't let me in. Before we went to bed we got our phones back but this morning still no internet. Although, at present I can mylot.
I'll be away from the house later and can mylot while my crew is working. I'll need to call out provider to find out what's going on. They'll probably need to do a reset from their end.
I called them a bit ago and there was an outage in our area last night. She was able to reset out modem which was offline and then reset the router from her end and now we're fine.

It is and it doesn't happen often or when it does it can easily be reset from the router or computer sometimes. At least it's now back again.

Is an easy fix sometimes but this time with the cable company doing the work it was easier than I expected. Years ago I used to have to unplug from one thing and plug into the computer tower to see if there modern was working. That meant moving loads of stuff away to even get to the back.
This time it took all of a few minutes for the fall to reboot things from her end.

I think when the area in town list service it tried something in our modem and it took them doing something on their end. I'm glad it was a simple fix.

I'm glad it is too because before it was I never knew how long I could mylot before being told ' no more internet'.

Is back to working again. The provider has to reboot it from their end.

That must be frustrating. In the next county south of here they had a provider doing something with their system that knocked out peoples phone and internet for 3 days! I am glad I know about that. I would never use that provider. Talk about poor customer service!!

The whole system was down in the area last night but it's totally running again after they fixed it modem and router from their end this morning.

Oh! That must be frustrating... Internet has become a necessity these days. We feel paralyzed without it. Hope the issue is resolved soon.
