Just a short post to celebrate a wonderful and rare event in Western Oregon. A bright and sunny day with mild temps in the middle of Winter. --- Normally, we get to deal with rain, wind, and for most days, clouds and mist.
I love the rain, don't get me wrong. It is one of the things that brought me here in the first place. Two years ago we had a period of nearly 100 days we did not see the sun and nearly every day it rained. Even for me, that was a bit too much. So, today join me in celebrating the sun.
I know the midwest is getting hit pretty hard right now with winter weather, and I can sympathize but I think I am going out to enjoy a nice walk in the sun.
How are you spending the day?
Photo is mine. The bird is a Golden Eagle.
