Parents always give their children a good name, a name with hope. But as they grow up sometimes they got nickname which have nothing to do with their real name.
And then I remember about my old days when I was in school. When I was in elementary school people called me tomboy because I did look like a boy. When I enter junior high school class mates called me Amazonian woman, because I was tomboy and wild. And in my high school people called me with several nicknames :
1. Cold blooded killer : because of my eyes. I have sharp eyes.
2. Tall : I am taller than most of my friends
3. TEgangan TInggi (high voltage in English) : see the capital letters, it's my name.
4. TEman TIdur (friend with benefits in English) : see the capital letters, it's my name
5. Bandit : because of my eyes (again)
Do you have a nickname that have nothing to do with your name?

Oh wow, those are some fun nicnames. High voltage! I think I like that one. Did you like it? So witty that your name is included in the words.
Faye is hard to make into a nicname. Someone once called me "Sparkle" because I like glitter clothes.

Sometimes people gave me nicknames probably because they don't know my name. When I bought something from the store, a man called me "Tisay" which means mestiza. This is maybe because of my fair skin. I got a lot of this when I was younger but I was surprised when someone called me this nickname nowadays.

My dad called me peanuts or sometimes squirt. I was the oldest and tallest until my brother's few up and definitely no squirt.
Later in life friends and family called me Sha or da Sha which I liked but that was a part of my name. In fact I liked it so much that I named my oldest daughter Shana figuring people might then call her Sha but we never did and neither did anyone else to my knowledge.
And now I must do something other than just mylot although this has been fun.
