Day 158 Promise 619 Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. What is the sum of your life? What have you achieved? What can you claim as strictly your own? Many people live for their own pleasure and will. Paul told the Ephesians everything they had was for the praise and glory of Christ Jesus. As Christians, Jesus redeemed your life from Satan’s grasp. He forgave all your sins. He gave you an inheritance far greater than one you could receive from your parents. And when the time comes, He will bring everyone who accepted Him as Savior and Lord together in one place. Your response to His grace should be to give Him praise and glory for all He did for you. Many Christians live in the moment. They see the problems they face and fail to see the answer until someone reminds them of their place in God’s family. They accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, but Satan still controls their lives and causes them to live in fear of the unknown. You were redeemed from Satan’s grasp. He has no hold over you. Jesus forgave all your sins. Satan would cause you to believe God forgave only a fraction as he reminds you of your past. God’s grace and love forgave ALL your sins, not some of them. His love broke Satan’s chains and gave you an inheritance with Him in heaven. God predestined you to be His child. Kick Satan out of your life and give God the praise and glory He deserves because of His great love for you. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for reminding me of Your great love for me. Help me live with gratitude in my heart for all You have done for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 16 January 2021 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

@just4him Thank you. I know what we do is to praise the Lord. We do it for Him.
