I didn't immediately look out the window when I got up this morning, but coming back from the loo I did and I saw white stuff out there. There had been a dusting of sn0w overnight. How much is a "dusting"? Well, some parked cars had about as much on them as those sugar-coated jelly donuts, but other things only had as much as some restaurants dust confectioner's sugar on their waffles. Yes, maybe I'm not right in the head.

@BarBaraPrz Not everyone likes snow so you are very right in your head. You just do not like snow.

I was referring to my comparisons to confectioner's sugar.

@Hannihar That's okay. I did know the mother and met her many times.

A dusting is okay as long as it doesn't freeze! We have about 3 inches of the fluffy white stuff now. Little Miss hasn't started asking when we can go outside yet. But, when she starts, she is relentless.

@BarBaraPrz she has fallen on ice and banged her head. Thankfully she had a heavy hat and her hood up too. Even so she remembers that fall. That was 3 years ago when she was 2 years old!!

@ElusiveButterfly She remembers but it didn't hurt so she's not afraid of doing it again.

We got excessive snow but it's light and fluffy. It was snowing this morning when I woke up but nothing right now.

There's been a dusting of snow overnight the past few days but it's gone by afternoon.

I always think that a dusting is when you have just a little bit that when you drive thru it your tires show the pavement, and not the snow, after you drive by. It is more cold then snowy here this morning-such is January.

Temperature is hovering around zero here, and the radio just threatened more of the white stuff to come.
