Homeschooling is far better for me compare to online learning and even the module.

Last year when the lockdown started due to pandemic, we all know that almost all the schools were adapting into new normal and even the transportation were even hard to many people. There were a lot of schools that made an adjustment on how to continue the schooling even if there is pandemic. Though homeschool is already ever since even without the pandemic.
I really want the homeschool at all in comparison to online and modules that given by public schools. Because in homeschool you can have flexible time, finish as early as possible, submit the requirements early and even see how your child will learn the lesson. The online is not recommended for kids who needs a lot of supervision or especially if they cannot study yet alone. The screen time is issue for me and it is almost the same that you will guide then later on you will also guide in assignment which is also can consume a lot of time so not flexible at all. More so their attention span matters. Unlike in homeschool I can monitor the attention span of a kid.
The module is horrifying for me even if we don't have experience on this at all. Because it is like giving you so much paper works and the teacher will not teach how to do it. It is also like homeschooling but then you keep answer and answer the paper until you must need to reach the deadline. I was even asked if why not sending my child to public school then somebody told that they are not yet ready for the curriculum.

Honestly, they should send kids to school who can go, and stop putting so much on the parents. Many parents don't know how to deal with issues, or are just learning about issues they otherwise may not have been aware of, because they only occur when a child has to do something like study. So, there's good and bad sides to it I guess.

It depends on the parents because some would always reason out or even worry about the socialization. Where in fact I believe that in homeschool you can even socialize with anybody for example if you want to enroll in some sports. The advantage is the flexible time. If they are kids it just same if school then at home you will guide the kid in assignment

You have a point there and I hope that the DepEd takes it into consideration

I don't know but I really find that Briones as incompetent and somewhat so much traditional that she can't even adapt into new normal.
