Day 162
Promise 623
Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. (KJV)
With all the chaos in the world today, we need peace. We need to know where to find it and access it.
Paul told the Ephesians they could only find true peace in Jesus Christ. When He died on the cross, He broke down the barrier between them and the Father and reconciled them to the Father. They had access to the Father through the Holy Spirit.
As Christians, you have the same access to the Father the Ephesians did. Jesus broke down the wall between you and the Father when the veil of the temple tore from top to bottom. Doing so, He abolished the ordinances, sacrifices because He was the sacrifice. His flesh contains everything you need for life.
Luke 23:44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. (KJV)
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Let Jesus be your peace.
Let’s pray: Father, let Your peace rest on me as I walk through this world. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
