Breaking news on Good Morning Football this morning as well as ESPN is Philip Rivers is officially retiring.
After 17 years in the NFL and one of those years with the Colts, he has decided that it is time to move on.
It was something that we saw coming in a way but also at the same time, saddens me as well.
The more QB's I see retire and some of the players, I feel like we're coming to the end of an era.
Any Rivers fans out there?
How do you feel about his retirement?
Did you follow him despite what team he was on?

I can't say I'm sad to see Rivers go. IMO he's been a steady QB. Nothing great by any stretch of the imagination. It kills me when I hear the announcers say that he'll be in the HOF. I mean really... I think admitting Rivers to the HOF will do nothing but water-down the accomplishments of the other HOF members.

I haven't heard that he's in yet. There has been a lot of debate about him going in and many said he's not up on that level. I don't think he'll make it, even if he makes the list of nominees, he won't make it to the final stage.
