I was nervous

When I was on the way to pick up Chiki today, I encountered SJR or most would call it as roadblock. I was in a hurry, tired and nervous for no reason. I know lockdown starts on Friday but what if they don't let me through. The officer greeted me politely and asked where I was going. The nervous me replied a specific location of my destination and the reason why I need to go. To pick up my cat. I swear one of the guy was laughing as I drove away. Can't he wait until I was out of hearing range?!

Maybe they are just testing your nervousness.

They're just asking routine question. It's to reduce people from crossing states. I was using the highway.

@prinzcy If you go through a narrow road, of course they would not ask.

I guess cops are like that. Have they announced strict lockdown from this Friday?

Yes. We're not longer allowed to leave districts unless it's for something important like work or buying necessities.

I can't blame the officer concerned. They might have not encountered any such incident where a person is so much worried about his cat in such a situation.

I am also worried the clinic would be close before I could reached it. There were like 3-4 traffic jams on the way there.

maybe it wasn't you he was laughing about. either way, it's good you were specific so there's no reason to delay you or make you go back.

Yes, thankful for that. It was already 5.30 at the time and the clinic closed at 6.

Maybe that's not the case. Maybe he just thought it was funny.
