True friend, how to know?

It is easy to earn friends special if you are approachable and sociable but real one is hard to find in reality. Sometimes we already considered them as real friends yet they are keep saying things behind your back. For me, I rather want to have a friend who is frank and will say anything whether nice or bad than those super nice one yet backstabbing you when your not around.
