In My Mind

Today my body is not cooperating with me so I am relegated to the bed. But, in my mind I am sitting at a sidewalk café in Paris enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. I will be here for about half and hour just watching the people walk by and enjoying the scenery. How wonderful the imagination is. After I finish enjoying Paris in my little trip of my mind, I will have the hubby bring me a cross stitch project in to me so I can hopefully finish it. Of course I will try to visit mylot every now and then throughout the day. Hope everyone out there is safe, healthy, and happy.

It does seem to take a bit of time to deal with all the things you need to do here. But it's so nice to connect with others.

I love your imaginational trip

I am sorry you are not keeping up with your energy level. I am feeling the same and kept myself engaged with works that need less energy and movement. That kept me distracted.

I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well. There’s probably a website somewhere where you can pull up a live video of a sidewalk cafe in Paris. I’ve really enjoyed a webcam at the aquarium in Waikiki where you can watch the sun set.

Sorry your body isn't cooperating today but I love your mind travel to Paris. I'm missing springtime and being able to sit outside so I might just have to steal your idea and plant myself somewhere nice and warm for awhile.

Well for starters I hope your body cooperates sooner than you expect. I'm also enjoying a cup of coffee with you but not in Paris. I bought some Paris pictures for my eldest years back and this picture almost looks the same at least if my memory is serving me correctly. Maybe it's a common picture? I'm sure you'll get a lot done even from the confines of your bed.

It is a common place. One of the be4st little café/coffee shops there is. I can get more accomplished from bed than most people can do on two feet, at least I think I do.

Thanks. That was all of the traveling I did for the day. I love traveling in my mind. It doesn't cost anything and I can have such a good time.

You're not gonna believe it but the clinic here has that exact lithograph on the wall in one of the exam rooms. Can you tell I've been there a few times? lol When I'm there I take that trip to the cafe while waiting on the doctor. I love people watching.
