Have you ever won any?
How did that make you feel?
I've been entering LOTS of YT channel giveaways for yarn and yarn related merchandise. There is one particular youtuber, Bag-O-Day that hosts a new giveaway nearly weekly. I enter them mostly for fun. I have entered a few from channels with fewer subscribers to up my chance of winning, but I don't hedge my bets on any of the channels.
I try to stick with channels that have personalities I like or tutorials I can easily follow.

Are there any in Germany? I've heard about them in the US and UK, but I wonder if other countries have giveways or radio contests.

@thelme55 I understand. There is no guarantee you will win and some of the giveways require you to give information that you would rather not reveal.

I use to enter them on Instagram but Inquit because they tell me I win then go and they want bank information scam

I don't really understand how to enter most giveways with Instagram. There's been a few yarn giveways there too. I like the post, but that's about it. The post never says to comment or anything.. It's weird.

@Tina30219 Ah okay. The ones I have seen don't give you that information. There was one that just had the photo of a packaged box and that was it. It's like they forgot to give the info.

I have never joined giveaways on YT. I have seen several YouTubers who does that. I hope you can win a giveaway or more.

Oh yes, I have done the same. I believe Adobe offered something once that was just for a limited time and I downloaded it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I am sure I downloaded a few things from Adobe and I have plenty of software offered free for one day, this is why I keep my old computer, the license was only valid for that day.

I enter the dream house giveaway every day on HGTV. You can also enter a second time each day on FoodNetwork. Other than that, I don't really enter giveaways and contests.

@moffittjc I've watched a few episodes of their show but don't know enough about them. What about Bob VIlla? Or.. There was another home improvement guy from the 90's I can't think of.

When sweepstakes were the rage they had a newsletter that they would send out with dozens of sweeps listed. I used to send out dozens of postcards and letters. Won a couple of the smaller prizes but never the big one. Now sweeps and contests are few and far between. Attached is a pic I thought you would appreciate. Have you seen the Bernie Sanders Photoshopped pictures?

I have and I also came across this in a few groups. There's a pattern for little Bernie Sanders too. I don't know that I will attempt it, but I got a kick out of it.
We still have sweepstakes places here. They are usually dotted across smaller towns.

Not recently, One time I won a large Dr. Pepper cooler though...the kind you could probably put 50 cans in.

@ScribbledAdNauseum The last time I got a giveway was the one we talked about a year or two ago, Dr. Oz had those healthy brownie bars or whatever they wrere. I got those for free. It took awhile to be delivered though. You had to enter within a certain amonunt of time, but if you did you got the bars. They were good.

@snowy22315 Oh I remember you telling me about those. The only time I get something like that for free is through surveys or once or twice when the local stores have some sort of incentive.

Well that's kind of awesome. The store I used to work for had a raffle for a Budweiser cooler once. I didn't enter, didn't see the point.

I entered a givaway on a channel that I'm subscibed to last year and I won. The prize that she was giving away was a clock that was made out of a plate. The only imformation that I had to give was my address and I received it in just a few days.

That's the info that I have to give too. The giveaways now require you to answer a skill question the youtube personality gives you.

I have entered many giveaways on twitter and instagram. I've never won giveaways from instagram but I've won many from twitter. Eventhough the price is not that much, Im still grateful. It's fun!
